Peer Response Post Kenna + Harmony

Hey Kenna,

I really enjoyed reading through your blog post #2. Specifically you anecdote around that Twitter troll account with it then linking to your main account. With everything on the internet being logged and requiring such verification, its not wonder meme accounts get connected to their original owners.

This breach of privacy can have some really bad consequences, which you highlighted with regards to the nurses who made fun of their pregnant patients. While the posters may not have been aware of the potential consequences of their actions, once posted the cat is out of the bag – there is no coming back.

Hey Harmony,

I really like how you recognize the variability within student populations being of both visitors AND residents. It a great thing to keep in mind when moving forward with our blogs and our contributions to our learning. Additionally, navigating brightspace can be difficult – even for residents, and I think that its important to help our colleagues in adapting to this new digital environment.
